"DJ Rosez is a Houston based DJ who embraces her Salvadoran roots. Her goal is to provide more queer representation for queer people of color within the DJ industry by curating epic perreo and chingona vibes."
Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
"I learned how to DJ during quarantine while watching Youtube videos. I started because there is never enough women especially queer women of color in male dominated fields, so I wanted to do it to represent my communities. I started making mixes, posting them on IG, and immediately started getting gigs. First a wedding, then markets, and now venues. It has been spiraling but a great journey! My brand consists of women empowerment, I want women to feel like they’re the ultimate baddies. I want them feeling how Megan Thee Stallion makes many of us feel, confident. Empowered. Seen."
Pride interview with DJ Rosez, she's a Latina DJ that started her journey during Covid, now she DJ's all over the Houston area, regularly at Buenas HTX at Tikila in the Heights Loteriia Night with Host Vicka with an Accent.
